Inaugurated in 1991, the aim of The Friends is to promote, support and assist in the improvement of the Royal Cambrian Academy and its cultural and educational activities. The Friends have raised notable sums and aided the Royal Cambrian Academy in many ways, including provision of volunteer gallery staffing.

A programme of talks and demonstrations (discount to Friends) by Academnicians and others, coach trips, automatic invitation to private views, films on artists, a poetry evening, garden visiting opportunities, raffles of original work, a delightful Christmas party and sundry other events throughout the year provide members and guests with a chance to get to know more about artists' work and to socialise. New membrs receive a warm welcome, a programme and a membership card. We hope you will join us.

Membership runs from January to December.

Subscription for one year: £10 per person or £15 per family at one address.

Please make cheques out to 'Friends of the RCA' and send to L Edwards  FRCA Membership, c/o Royal Cambrian Academy, Crown Lane, Conwy, LL32 8AN. A programme and a membership card will be sent to you. Your membership card must be showm to obtain discounts to functions.
