Raised on Anglesey from the age of 12, Graham was educated at Ysgol Gyfun Llangefni and later studied at colleges and universities across the UK to postgraduate level. He has worked for over 25 years in Community Arts and public engagement and lectured in Graphic Design and Photography in North Wales, (Bangor University and Coleg Llandrillo). In recent years Graham has focused on freelance creative practice, working as a peripatetic tutor and photographer.
He has work in public and private collections internationally and engages with exhibitions, residencies and commissions.
Graham’s photography is rooted in social documentary practice, known particularly for his extensive work in the West of Ireland, and locally for his environmental-portraiture, land/seascape projects.
The Arts Council of Wales have supported his work on several occasions, enabling continuing professional development and creative experimentation.
The Royal Cambrian Academy (RCA) provide opportunities to share his creative medium in a cross-section of work reflecting his past and ongoing creative journey.
