Born in St Asaph in 1970, Luned Rhys Parri studied with Peter Prendergast at Gwynedd Technical College and then with Terry Setch at Cardiff Institute of Higher Education, graduating in 1992. She works in 3d from her studio in Groeslon. She has been a prizewinner at the National Eisteddfod and has exhibited at Ffin y Parc (since 2011) and prior to that at Ruthin Craft Centre, Oriel Mon, Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw, Ceredigion Museum Aberystwyth and St David’s Hall Cardiff.
She has stated that her painted and collaged, papier mache sculptures deal with “home, childhood memories, Welsh life”.
