ELECTED IN 2017
Lynne was born in 1964 in Wellington, New Zealand and grew up in Cornwall when her family returned to the UK in 1967. She studied art at Falmouth Art College and then Cardiff Art College attaining a BA (Hons) Fine Art degree in 1987 when one of her figurative paintings was selected for the Whitworth Young Contemporaries.
Lynne has lived in Wales since 1984, whilst retaining strong links with Cornwall where she is a member of Portscatho Arts Society.
"Painting has been something of an obsession since I was a child. Making images, that have potential to inspire the imagination, from little more than amorphous gunk seems endlessly fascinating. Flowers are an ongoing passion. I have an allotment where I grow plenty of roses, which often figure in my still life paintings."
