An exciting outdoor painting course with artist Peter Moore ATC at Pensychnant Nature Reserve. With instruction and guidance (if needed) you will have the opportunity to draw and paint the gardens, buildings and varied landscape of the Sychnant Pass area. You will use mediums of your choice, be it watercolour, acrylic, oils or pastel or experimenting with mixed media. Please bring the materials you wish to work with.
The two day course will be broken down into easy stages and will focus on colour, structure and atmosphere. You will use the landscape as your inspiration and adjust your painting to the ever changing light and mood of the day.
At the beginning of the course there will be a brief introduction into the interesting history of Pensychnant Conservation Centre. There will also be the option to go on a short guided walk around the beautiful woods if desired.
This will be a lovely relaxing and inspiring day in truly beautiful surroundings.
Homemade cake and FAIRTRAIDE tea/coffee will be served in the afternoon. Please bring any other refreshments/lunch if required.
Be aware this course is outside and so wear appropriate clothing for the weather. Shelter will be available if it is raining.
