While landscape provides a shared point of reference, the artists approach it in markedly different ways — ranging from direct responses to place, to more reflective and process-led interpretations. The exhibition presents these works alongside one another, allowing connections and contrasts to emerge across the gallery space.
Bob Shires draws on familiar places, often in Anglesey, exploring the relationship between buildings, light and weather.
Nesta Eluned works instinctively, allowing landscapes to emerge through layers of paint, texture and mark.
Presented together, the exhibition offers different ways of engaging with landscape — from close observation to intuitive and physical responses — without imposing a single narrative or theme.
