David Jones draws on his imagination and dreams to create a world of linocut images and sculptures that are designed to intrigue and entertain. For inspiration he looks to the worlds of folk art, outsider art, illustration and commercial art.
Born in 1939, studied at Birkenhead and Liverpool Colleges of Art (John Moores prize). Self-employed artist/graphic designer since 1962, based in London but worked in Japan in the mid 1960s. Until 2005 senior lecturer at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design.
