The Power and Grace of Wild Water
The Snowdonia National Park comprises 434 miles of rivers and over 100 lakes. Its waterfalls, rocky rivers, and gorges have completely captivated artist Debbie Baxter ARCA for nearly three years. Her primary focus has been on the LLedr River, examining its countless watery patterns across various seasons as it cascades down from the mountains. The river roars dramatically when in spate and sparkles brightly in the spring sunshine Debbie has truly captured the essence of wild Welsh water as it flows by in its dramatic rugged scenery. Often seen balancing on rocks mid-river with palette and fortitude in hand, she uses acrylic paint to fully immerse herself in the feeling and force of these mystical waters.
