Bev Bell-Hughes RCA invites a selection of Welsh artists to the Cambrian
Please join us for the opening of this exhibition at 2pm on Saturday 14 September 2019.
Sculptor, Bev Bell-Hughes is the winner of the Gold Medal for Craft at this year's National Eisteddfod. As Bev is partially sighted, the touch and feel of clay in both its fired and unfired forms is very important. Living by the sea in North Wales her work is inspired by nature and the sand, rocks and rugged landscape of the area.
Here, Bev has selected a group of Welsh artists - painters, sculptors, ceramicists and photographers to exhibit at the Cambrian. You will find artists statements at the exhibition, giving an insight into the varied, often political work. There is a comments book too and you are encouraged to offer feedback on your impressions of the show.
