I make architectural sculptures, for example the cast bronze door furniture of the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff.
I also create intricate and delicate framed artworks in mixed metals.
Additionally I make striking black and gold jewellery in iron and brass, a combination of precious metals and glimmering gemstones, an opulent and tactile mix of rich dark tones, and golden details, organic riven textures and smooth polished bronze droplets.
Blacksmithing and experimenting with new materials and techniques, I’m mostly influenced by nature and history and the characteristics of materials.
I have a country estate forge in Glynllifon, and a high street jewellery shop and studio - siop iard - within the walled castle town of Caernarfon.
