Born Cheshire 1946, Joy Ravenscroft lives in Bethesda, Gwynedd.
She paints in oils – scenes of children – a single child within a landscape or a family group and of still life in a domestic setting. Joy belongs to a tradition of women painters whose work reflects the unheroic intimate world that is the life of a family.
