Noëlle Griffiths studied Fine Art at St Martin’s School of Art, London during 1978-82.She lives in Snowdonia and has taught art part-time since 1987.
As well as painting, Noëlle makes one-off and small editions of artist’s books as Hafod Press. Shestarted www.artistsbooksonline.com in 2005. Noëlle has exhibited regularly in group and solo exhibitions since 1983.
“My paintings and artist’s books attempt to capture the essence and distillation of anexperience or concept. I am interested in exploring memories, sensations and ideasfinding connections and structure to give new meaning. Intuitively I seek to find abalance of imagery through simplification, colour and composition.”
