Create a hand-built horse head sculpture in clay with guidance from ceramicist Louise Schrempft.
All materials provided. No experience necessary – just bring your curiosity.

Arrive and register

Workshop begins with a short introduction to Louise’s work, followed by a demonstration of clay preparation. Participants will begin building the base and neck of the piece.

Lunch (not provided) – feel free to bring a packed lunch or explore options in Conwy

Step-by-step assembly of the horse’s head, including sculpting features and attaching the head to the base.

Final decorative touches: ears, mane, and finishing details

Please note:
Hair dryers will be available to assist with drying.
Finished pieces can either be left with Louise for firing and collected at a later date, or taken home for participants to fire and glaze themselves.
