Baum attended the Slade School of Art, taught at Liverpool
Polytechnic from 1965-1989, and was Head of Art and Design at Coleg
Menai, Gwynedd, until 1994.
His works are in the permanent collections of the National Library of Wales, many Welsh museums the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool and in private collections internationally. He has exhibited at the Tate Liverpool, Oriel Mon, and galleries in London, Liverpool and North Wales.
