It is with great sadness we note the artist Iwan Gwyn Parry has died, aged only 55.

A painter of visionary waterscapes based on his beloved north west Wales coast, he had a powerful solo exhibition at the Celf Gallery in Cardiff in October.
Iwan exhibited throughout Wales and in galleries in London and Dublin. His work can be found in many public and private collections including the National Library of Wales, Government Art Collection, University of South Wales, Contemporary Arts Society for Wales, Anglesey County Council and Bangor University.

He was a loyal and valued Royal Cambrian Academy member.
