At our recent AGM of the Royal Cambrian Academy of Art, we are pleased to announce that Dr Ceri Thomas has been elected as our new President.
Ceri , a highly respected artist, art historian, and curator from South Wales, brings with him a wealth of experience and a deep passion for Welsh culture and art. His appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the RCA, as he steps into this vital role to continue fostering artistic growth and cultural engagement.
We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Jeremy Yates, who has retired from his role as Vice President. Jeremy has been a pillar of the RCA, serving as President from 2014 to 2020, and Vice President thereafter. His dedication to the Academy over the years has been invaluable, and his contributions have left a lasting impact.
Furthermore, we wish to acknowledge Ann Lewis, who has gracefully transitioned from her position as President, a role she held since 2020, back to Vice President. Ann’s leadership has guided the Academy through important exhibitions and initiatives, and we look forward to her continued involvement as Vice President.
This new leadership will undoubtedly guide the Royal Cambrian Academy into a bright future, and we are excited for the next phase of our journey.
