    Glen Farrelly on ITV Wales' 'Backstage'

    We are delighted to share that Glen Farrelly will be featured on ITV Wales this Sunday, the 26th of May, on the arts program 'Backstage.' Tune in at 7 PM to watch the segment, which explores Glen’s innovative use of an ancient Japanese technique to preserve his wooden sculptures. The program will also be available on ITVX an hour later.

    In this episode, reporter Jess Hope-Clayton visits Wrexham to delve into Glen's work, which is heavily influenced by the climate crisis. His unique approach and dedication to addressing environmental issues through art make this a must-watch feature. Join us in celebrating Glen’s accomplishments and be sure to catch the program on ITV Cymru Wales.

    Simon Goss Solo Show at the International Welsh Rarebit Centre

    RCA member Simon Goss is excited to announce his first solo exhibition at the International Welsh Rarebit Centre, located on High Street in Defynnog. Visitors can look forward to an eclectic mix of nudes, landscapes, and still life works, all rendered in a variety of media.     John Hedley Exhibition at Aberystwyth Arts Centre

    The exhibition, which runs from May 21st to August 11th, features stunning two and three-dimensional oil paintings on wood. John Hedley’s work uses windfall wood donated by the National Trust following Storm Arwen, as well as wood from Crete and Ynys Mon. His intricate paintings invite viewers to explore the hidden stories of trees through vibrant color, unique shapes, and thoughtful use of precious metals. Additionally, there will be a special tour of the exhibition on May 24th from 11 AM to 12 PM with John Hedley, Anders Pleass, and Bob Dickinson. More information can be found here.
