The Royal Cambrian Academy is pleased to announce the election of Dr Ceri Thomas PRCA as President and Jeremy Yates VPRCA as Vice President, following the recent Extraordinary General Meeting.
Both Ceri and Jeremy are familiar to many within the Academy and beyond, having previously served in these leadership roles. Their return brings continuity and experience at a time of change and challenge.
Alongside them, Vicky McDonald continues her long association with the Academy, having served as curator-administrator under Sir Kyffin Williams and, more recently, as a co-opted Honorary Council member. Her continued involvement provides further stability and reassurance for members and supporters.
The new RCA Council has also been confirmed, with the following artists elected to serve:
Lynne Cartlidge
John Hedley
Graham Hemborough
Nichola Hope
Louise Morgan
Gilly Thomas
We look forward to working together under this leadership to continue supporting Welsh art and artists, building on the Academy’s proud history while facing the future with determination.
